Bullet Force: which version this is, and how the demo plays
Bullet Force was Lucas Wilde's first big release under the Blayze Games name: a Unity first-person shooter that arrived on phones and in browsers in 2016 and grew into a multiplayer game with ranked matches, a weapon shop and a Photon-hosted lobby. That full game needs the developer's servers, and those servers do not answer to a page on another domain, so the version we serve here is the one that never needed them: the original WebGL demo Blayze put out on the game portals the same year. It is a single map, a revolver and an AK-12 on your back, and a stream of bot soldiers that keeps coming until you drop.
The demo is short on menus and long on shooting. Three buttons on the title screen set the difficulty — Easy gives you room to learn the map, Hard puts accurate bots on you almost immediately — and from there the whole game is the counter at the top of the screen and the magazine count under the weapon icon. It is a 100 MB Unity 5 build, so the first load takes a minute on a normal connection and the browser has to reserve half a gigabyte of memory for it; after that it is cached and starts in a few seconds. Desktop only, in practice: the build predates touch controls that work in a browser.
Controls & mechanics
| Action | Control | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Move | W / A / S / D | Strafe with A and D rather than turning; the bots aim at where you were |
| Aim and fire | Mouse, left click | Click the game once first so it can lock the pointer; Escape releases it and pauses |
| Switch weapon | 1 / 2 | You start with the revolver drawn (6 rounds, 15 spare); 2 brings up the AK-12 (30 rounds, 75 spare) |
| Reload | R | The number under the weapon icon is magazine / reserve; reload behind cover, not in the open |
| Jump and crouch | Space / C | Crouching drops your head below the boulders, which are the only cover on the map |
| Pause | Escape | Freezes the round and frees the mouse; press again to continue |
Lasting longer in the demo
- Fight from the rocks, not the field: The map is an open valley with a hut and a handful of boulders. Bots spawn at the edges and walk in, so standing with a rock at your back means every threat comes from the front and the crouch key actually does something.
- Draw the rifle before the first bot arrives: The round starts with the six-shot revolver in your hands and the bots take several hits each. Press 2 as soon as you spawn: the AK-12 has thirty in the magazine and turns each engagement into a short burst. Keep the revolver for the moment the rifle runs dry mid-fight, when a swap is faster than a reload.
- Read the counter, not the horizon: '20+' at the top means the wave is still full, and it does not shrink while you hide. A quiet minute is not a cleared map, it is bots walking around the rocks towards you. Turn around every few seconds.
Key features
- Runs without the servers: The demo has no lobby, no login and no Photon connection, which is why it still works in 2026 while mirrored copies of the multiplayer client sit on a connecting screen.
- Three difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard change the bots' accuracy and how quickly the wave closes in; the map and the two-weapon loadout stay the same.
- Served from this domain: The build's 100 MB of engine and assets are on this server, so nothing is hotlinked and a portal shutting down cannot take the game with it.
Game info
- Title: Bullet Force
- Developer: Blayze Games
- Category: First-Person Shooters
- Platform: Web browser (HTML5)
- Build: Unity 5.2 WebGL demo, about 100 MB, desktop browsers, served from bulletforce.co
Pro tip: Hard mode is not about aim, it is about time in the open. Press 2 for the rifle the moment you spawn, walk straight to the nearest boulder, and only leave cover when the rifle is full. Bots that cannot see you do not fire, and the ones that come round the rock arrive one at a time.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the full Bullet Force?
No. This is the original 2016 WebGL demo: one map, two weapons and an offline survival mode against bot soldiers. The full multiplayer Bullet Force needs Blayze Games' match servers, which only answer the official builds, so we do not pretend to run it here.
Why does it take so long to load?
The demo is a 100 MB Unity 5 build and the browser has to download it and reserve 512 MB of memory before the menu appears. On a normal connection that is about a minute the first time; the files are cached afterwards and the game starts in a few seconds.
Does it work on a phone?
Not usefully. The build has no touch controls that work in a browser and it needs more memory than most phones will give a tab. Play it on a laptop or desktop with a mouse.
The mouse will not turn my view — what is wrong?
The game needs to lock the pointer, and browsers only allow that after a click inside the game. Click the frame once after choosing a difficulty. If you press Escape the pointer is released and the game pauses; click again to resume.
Can I play it with friends?
Not in this build; it is single player against bots. For a shooter with people in it, Combat Reloaded, Blast Buddies, Blockpost and Superbrawl on this site have working online modes, and Rooftop Snipers 2, Gladihoppers and Tank Stars put two players on one keyboard.
