Play Tunnel Rush free in your browser: steer down a spinning neon tunnel, read the coloured blocks coming at you and slip through the gaps before they hit.

Tunnel Rush is a first-person reflex game by Deer Cat Games. You fly forward through a tube that keeps spinning, and walls, bars and blocks come at you in the tube's colours. There is no gun and no enemy here: the only thing you do is turn left or right around the tunnel so the opening in the next obstacle ends up in front of you.

How to play

Left / A: rotate one way around the tube.
Right / D: rotate the other way.

Speed keeps rising during a run, and the tunnel's colour shifts as you go deeper, which is the game's way of telling you the next stretch is harder. One touch on any obstacle ends the run.

Why it sits on a shooter site

Bullet Force rewards fast eyes: spotting a head in a window, reading where a player will step next. Tunnel Rush trains the same thing without the aiming. Players here use it for a few minutes between matches, or when the school network blocks the multiplayer servers but plain web games still load.

Tips

Look at the far end of the tunnel, not the obstacle right in front of you. By the time it is close, it is too late to turn.
Tap the keys instead of holding them. Short turns keep you lined up; long ones overshoot the gap.
When two gaps are on offer, take the one that needs less rotation.
